Alan himself needs little introduction, having been the vocal powerhouse behind Scots Progressive Rock legends Pallas for over 25 years. Since going solo in 2010, he’s released two studio albums, and he’s working on a third – ‘Grey Sky Thinking’ – which is due for release in 2019.
With the Daughters of Expediency, Alan has found the right mixture of dynamism and experience to bring his music to life: eschewing capes and theatrics in favour of good old-fashioned fun, the band give passionate performances of both Alan’s solo and Pallas material. Together they’ve toured the UK, France and the Netherlands, including memorable performances at HRH Prog, Winter’s End and Prog Dreams festivals.
The full band line-up for the Daughters is as follows: Alan Reed (vocals, 12-string, bass pedals), Mark Spencer (guitar, vocals), Daren Callow (guitar, vocals), Tudor Davies (keyboards), Jennifer Clark (bass), and Henry Rogers (drums).
